I have a Vaillant eco tec pro 28 . Every now and then it fires up runs and shuts down even when its not in use . Is this the norm ?😕

check to see if you have hot water pre heat switched on

these boiler have a maintenance program in built,as do most morden boilers,they fire up for a few seconds,idea is to stop pump seizing up

This boiler has a warmstar function which is designed to keep the water in the boiler at or above a temperature so that when hot water is called for it is quicker.
