I've been told that both above are not working after a test on the boiler- Gas man check,- system has not been run for about 10 years.
My question is, do I change the gate valves on iether side of the pump aswell ? ( it's a Grundfos 15-50 pretty standard I believe)

2.Do I just change the zone valves' (Danfoss HPA2, 2 port type)zone valve.jpg actuater or the just the port valve body or play safe and just do every thing,- its going to get pricey I think. Would appreciate as much help as possible, don't ask me how he worked out they both don't work as I was not there at the time ! Would it be possible to,( if there just jammed) to free them with a bit of WD40 ? I am on a tight budget ! many thanks, tried to put some pics in but not sure they're on

ask him if its the controls at fault,i.e wiring,
if not just change pump head ,there is a manually operated bar on divertor, see if this moves freely,if not change.longshot but give pump a belt with hammer with it switched on might free it up

The Grundfos pumps in ur pics cost £93| from screwfix two gates valves £12:00 each and a 2 port about £50 £60 quid hope this helps and it isnt that hard as long as the syastem is isolated properly leave the mains open.
