Do waterfall taps for baths have any kind of flow restrictors/reducers in them? Got one fitted on the sink that had to be throttled off on the shut offs due to the pressure but the bath one just doesn't have the same pressure yet the shower which is right above said tap has good pressure!

they are just naff, last thing you want in a bathroom is glass that can break into a bathfull of kids! omho, otherwise get a prv fitted on you incoming main

I think they do have pressure reducers in them or they should based on the design of them.

I'm not a fan of them, its another product that looks good and sounds good but fails to deliver.

there might be some crud stuck in the tap restricting the flow.

Crikey. It should deliver for the price of it! I know it's not an issue with the water pressure so maybe I should check there's nothing blocking it. I have a feeling that its just not gonna do what I want! It's just strange that the sink one had to be throttled back cause of the pressure.

You're prob right but it takes a long time to fill the bath. Oh well, just have to get used to it. Just wasn't sure if I could do anything about it.

Just fitted one on a new rectangular WB in a GF toilet, if you put one on a bath you should be OK the jets got somewhere to go, (see below) there are a set of plastic restrictors that came with the tap but these are nowhere near enough on mains and a mega-flow, had to slow the flow rate down with the isolation valves, beware of the noise it makes.

If you put them on a bath and someone wants a top up with hot, well make up your own mind what going to happen, someones going to get a nasty surprise, they are all top show. IMO And before you ask our Doris
