Hi

Boiler fires up and I have heating but no hot water, there is under floor heating as well.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hi many thanks for your replies, it has 2 x 2 port valves. One of them has H/W scribbled on it and when I moved the lever across it had no resistance and felt loose. I tried the other one and it had resistance and moved back slowly into its original position. Would this indicate the H/W zone valve has failed, its a Honeywell and has a dimple on it. I have read this indicates that the top part can be replaced without removing the whole body?

Any advice would be appreciated.
cheers

You can't change the whole head on this model - You can change the synchron motor though, but as above, I'd prefer to change the whole valve.

Dimple on the actuator head means actuator can be removed and replaced. No dimple means actuator can't be removed. Have you tried a new synchron motor?
