Hi

Just had a new boiler system and smart programmer fitted (salus IT500)

Plumber wasn't to sure if the stat was wired correctly as he wasn't clued up on smart programmers .

Everything works fine on the new system apart from when it calls for heat it don't like it and I have to put it on manual .

At the time we didn't have the pinout of the stat (old Landis & GYR) but now I have found them (below)

Easy question I have put both pinout of stat and the salus programmer box can you tell me where the 3 wires go from stat to box (3 black wires shown on diagram )

He cant come back for 4 weeks and need it sorted

Thanks on advance

Common eg live from stat / programmer
1 switch live eg hot water calling
2 hot water off / satisfied

So in my programmer I have NC NO and the other wire to boiler as in image above

Yes also the highlighted bit you did says what there for

Eg
nc = normally closed
No = normally open
C = common

Update

OK I'm sure the stat is wired correctly now, it's behaving a bit different now .

CH works fine that kicks in when switched and turns off fine

HW this run back to front , when I call for it it switches off , when I turn it off on the smart controller it switches on

So it all works fine apart from hot water is back to front
