Hi all. Just after some advice on why the heating won't work but hot waters fine? It's a Combi boiler and I'm not gas safe so are there any other things to check other than the diverter valve?

Unfortunately there isn't anything thing you can check. Best to call a gas guy in or put it in the section looking for a plumber [DLMURL]http://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk/im-looking-plumber-gas-engineer/[/DLMURL]

So I can't check things like TRV being closed off or pressure at the boiler?

As above, but you could check external controls such as a timer and especially a wall room thermostat is set high enough. Room thermostats are a common cause of no heat at this time of year because they are set at 21 degrees centigrade (winter setting) when the air temperature could be above this and preventing the thermostat from ringing the heating on.
Other than that, call a Gas Safe registered engineer in.

Well thanks for the advice guys. So I would assume that the problem will most likely be the boiler.

Sorry if I appeared snippy, but having looked at your previous posts I assumed you would have checked the obvious stuff first

I haven't been to the address. Someone asked me if I could take a look that's all

Ah right so it's a custards house, have you asked them about checking the obvious?
