Saunier Duval fe28e enviroplus given up after 11 years. I have boiler cover with homeserve and they say boiler is beyond economical repair. They will supply new boiler but i have to pay for fitting at £1300. The boiler is an ideal logic and will have 2 years warranty. Wondered if i would be better of having a local plumber fit me a ideal logic plus with 7 years warranty for £1800. Advice appreciated.

Work out how much you'd be paying Home Swerve for 5 years after warranty runs out and you'll have your answer. Dont forget you'll need a annual service to keep up the warranty

Just had a look and they charge around £200 a year so you're looking at £2300 for boiler fitting 2 years manufacturers warranty and 5 years cover

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
