Horrible things those offset connectors.
I always use these type of fittings now.

I don't think that kit has any Bristan branding on it when I bought it, totally generic ebay fast fix kit with nasty shallow depth plastic chrome plastic shrouds.

Got an issue atm where i have stuck the pipes out at the c's, gone to fit the shower after tiled with a bar fixing kit and realised the shower (Triton Muse) cannot be used with a bar fixing kit nor the one they make themselves.
Any way around this or is it either take the tiles of and use 1/2'' irons or change the shower at cost to me.
Everyone else don't make this silly mistake!

If cones ( ones that cover normal stumps avail) sweat on some 15mm to 1/2 male irons?

I had thought about that but then thought that it'll put it to far forward for the shrouds to cover the gap and i forgot to mention its got the bar coming of the top with a fixed head so can't come to far forward as the two brackets on the bar will be away from the wall. i suppose you could space them with something.
It's my fault, shower was there when i first fixed so i should have checked but never had an issue with fixing kits before.

Cut tube tight , 1/2 sticking out of wall. Put end feed cap on , drill out center with 8mm bit. Go to orange shed. Pick up their own brand tile hole saw. Set up 20mm one. Use end cap with hole for center and drill tiles round pipe so u have space round it. Remove end cap, sweat on iron. Tight as owt!

Nice! like your thinking there ermi, you had similar problem before?

That is a good idea, a lot cheaper than changing the make of shower to.
Thanks Ermintrude, i will let you know the outcome.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
