These roles are open to applicants in Selected OX, GL, LU, HP and SN postcodes. The closing date is Midnight on Sunday 27th April, and there is no upper age limit (provided you meet the criteria for the role.)
During your Apprenticeship, in addition to the excellent technical training which includes the City & Guilds Level 3 QCF Diploma in Domestic Gas Engineering, you will complete a personal programme of activities to achieve the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Gold award or British Gas Award programme.
You must hold a minimum of 4 GCSEs/Scottish Standard Grades or equivalent at grade C or above, including English, Maths and preferably Science as well as a practical subject such as Technology / Food Technology or Electronics. Your application should ideally show evidence of your practical hobbies and interests, including voluntary work. You must also have a full driving licence with 6 points or less for use within the UK. The role will involve heavy lifting, so a suitable level of physical fitness will be required.
In return, you will receive fantastic training in a British Gas academy. This Apprenticeship is a self driven programme that requires highly motivated individuals to manage their own development throughout the duration of the training.
