Anybody know of any ceiling fixings for use on steel decking also need to use threaded bar with it , cant think of anything off the cuff as need to put some four inch ventilation in for it .

depends on ceiling construction if its concrete you can use red heads which push in annnd the you expand them with a setting tool these take studding in directly
some of the steel shuttering systems have preformed slots that take unistrut wedges best to look what every one else is using once you get to site normally theres a screewfix or similar on route

Its a steel ceiling if it was concrete i would be using redheads and bar but as i said its steel decking and it will be only me that will be hanging anything off it for ventilation, i remember using something ages back on this that wasnt as expensive as unistrut , snowhead has sent the attachment of what i remember

Drill 2 3mm pilot holes in the steel for the screws, and then you could use a munsen ring backplate with M10 threaded rod. Screw this to the steel with self tapping screws, or if you have access to the rear of the steel, bolt it on with 6mm roofing bolts or similar.

.....or drill a hole through the steel wide enough for the M10 rod to go through and put the Munsen ring backplate behind the steel and thread the rod into it.
