Hi guys,

Need your help please...starting first fix on Monday in a loft conversion. The cold main comes in the loft and the cold storage is in the corner diagonal across the loft, a good 10 metres away. The new bathroom is near where the main enters the loft.

The cold storage tank and immersion tank only supply one bathroom. The rest of the house is on a combi.

Am I good to take the cold main before it enters the tank? To save the extra pipe runs. I'm thinking no but my mind is fried at the moment. Just need some reassurance.

Cheers.

what you going to be using it for?

tbh i would take that off the rising main
