(I've had a good search and I cannot find a similar post)

Recently I've noticed a strange issue with the heating system. The heating system seems to work fine and we do get hot water, however we only seem to get hot water in the morning.

I've got a Drayton LP522 controller and the little hot water LED comes on in the evening to indicate hot water but none comes out of the taps. It seems once the morning hot water is gone - it's gone!!

In the evening once the hot water is gone, I've found moving the primary coil feed valve to "manual" causes the water to heat up again. I probably didn't give enough time but when I switched on the immersion heater that didn't seem to heat the water up either.

I did wonder maybe the water was only heated when the heating was active so whacked up the thermostat but that didn't seem to make any difference.

Any advice on this kinda working state? Faulty controller??

(It's hard to say when this began because it's easy to blame the kids for using too much hot water)

Yes I do. What do you recommend testing?

Ac Voltage from programmer to zone valve - so between a neutral and brown on hot water zone valve. Check for permanent live (grey), and then test the orange wire (switched out), should have 230vac on all, with a demand.
