been offered work in London.

I don't live there but have somewhere to stay in Chiswick.

my dilemma is it costs £200 to get there and back each week, but the company who I would be subbing into say that doing servicing, breakdown and repair I could earn around £1500 a week. I made inquiries and another firm said they could sub me in and that I would expect to be on £1000 to £1400 a week. Coming from where I am from - this sounds like a load of marketing talk. a big steaming pile of it!!

I know a good few of you are London based - what do you guys think? its west London work. 1 company is £32/hr 7am-6pm and £75/hr after that. But only onsite hours are billed.

and the other job the owner has said he will split the profit of each job 50/50.

many thanks in advance

This sounds like social housing contracts doing the rounds again (That time of year) and earnings very rarely meet what they tell you, high turnover of staff usely due to broken promises , get no end of work agency's phoning up around now, and don't forget all the fuel & parking costs are down to you, and you may need to work about 18hrs a day to make it pay, been there Never again.
