Evening all,
I went to look at a flat a friend has bought, earlier today to give it a once over he wants some bathroom work done, anyway I noticed the gas pipe goes into the building under the floor in the ground floor flat and up into his flat in the understairs cupboard which is also in the downstairs flat.
Now he is intending to rent the flat out, I'm pretty sure that the pipe needs to be re-run , am I right? also is it ok to run the new pipe through the floor dividing the 2 flats ?

was kinda thinking that, but wasn't sure and god knows where my viper book is
