Does anyone know of any (cheaper) intrinsically safe Gas seekers other than a gasco. Needed for TPCP1A purging.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Especially with all the love for the Testo and TPI gas leak seekers in the recent thread which as far as I can see don't measure LEL LFL % and/or are not intrinsically safe.

Thanks
Jon

Ended up free as its got a leak. Will send it off to be calibrated and see what they say. Not much to go wrong with them from the sounds of it so fingers crossed.

Realised that this sounds well dodgy but I had already spoken to j m w ltd about it and it seems that these are quite simple mechanically and so they were pretty certain they could sort any problems as necessary and then calibrate.

At worst I have to keep looking if it's toast.

Cheers Jon

I did a bit of research as im a tool junkie too. But finally opted for a cheaper one.
It does all of that from memory. There is a pdf explaining its functions

I did just skim what it could do. It would surprise me if there weren't more products that do this.

On the tool junkie tip I saw you've got a Kane 457. Did you get it for COMCAT?

Is has the future proofing for taking timed room Co measurements / air quality.
Meant to be slightly more accurate as it has compensation built in for temp.
Apart from that i just got it for a great price and not alot more than a 455 at the time
