Hi all,

I've installed one of these today, finished tiling it in etc. On running the shower, good flow regardless of temperature setting but even on max temperature the temp is only luke warm (but noticeably warmer than min temperature).

Obviously the shower is now tiles in etc and access is tricky short of going into the other side of the wall in the room behind.

On switching the shower on, the temperature is hot for a second then drops off to luke warm when the control is set to max. temperature.

Has anyone had problems like this before? I'm trying to sort it tomorrow so after a quick solution if anyone has one!

Thanks!

Not familar with this shower but i would check connectios are the right way round and check you have the adequate required pressures and they are balanced. Might be a faulty valve from Grohe though with the thermostat sticking

you should be a ble to check the filters, and i would reckon at them be blocked due to not flushing pipework properly after install?

Hmm just reread the instruction manual online and it seems that you need to calibrate the temperature dial before final installation. I didn't do this which may explain why it's not quite right at the moment. I did flush the pipework before installation and because there's no drop in flow from hot to cold I don't think it's a blocked filter.

Will update this pm!
