Hi All

I have learnt that having your own house does have its challenges once in a while and now have come to the point where i am having some issues with the plumbing systems in my house and hoping to get some advice. I will post the various problems I have ranging from my combi boiler to tap issues in the correct forums but thought i would introduce myself first before i get right into it.

thanks in advance for any help i receive. Its a scary world out there when it comes to plumbing, i am hoping thus forum will alleviate those fears.....

thanks again

Hello and welcome. My first piece of advice is to find out where your main stopcock is and test it before you ever need it. Every few months, turn it off and back on to make sure it hasn't seized. Give it a blast of penetrating oil if it's getting stiff...
