Probably a don't ask, don't tell policy like my company. According to media best to move on every 4-5yrs or you get left behind pay wise.Age & experience play a big part, is it a large Co you work for ? what are you earning now ? what are other engineers on Co earning ?
As said there isn't, all to do with how much the company think you are worth. What's the minimum annual salary a newly qualified gas engineer should get roughly?doing servicing GSC & the odd boiler.
Perhaps, give it a bit more time before chasing the money and get more experience. I think everything comes with time and experience. But it is down to you.I'm newly qualified 4 months, I do gsc and servicing and the odd boiler 1-2 a month maybe , was labouring for 4 years learning the trade!
Not in the real world with only 4 months experiance, as said before look around at wanted adverts, even apply for some then you will see.But should I be earning 20k or more just now do you think..?
