When I went self employed, I was given a Hilti te18-m 110V multi function drill. Seemed pretty good by the looks of it. 3 interchangeable chucks, many drill bits and the fact it was a Hilti, which isn't a bad start.
Anyhow, I believe it to be quite old and just not up to the current market offerings. Previous employers drills have been £100 Makita SDS and I'm sure they drilled a masonry hole better. Here are the Hilti's specs;
Input power: 720w.
Hammer action: 0-3800 blows/per.
Single impact energy: 2.2Nm.
Rotational speed: 0-2000 RPM via a 3 speed gearbox.
Should I be chopping it in?
