Hi the spout on my tap has a leak from the bottom where the spout meets the base of the mixer. I’ve took the spout of with the small screw at the back. Had a look inside and there’s no washer at all. So I’ve replaced the two washers that you can see on the tap, there’s an extra space that looks as though it should have a washer but it hasn’t, not sure if that’s maybe the slot that the screw screws into to to hold the spout on. I’ve replace the two old washers with new ones, and the biggest washer at the top is stopping the spout from going back on. I tried rubbing fairy liquid over it to see if it would slid on but it tore the washer. Any suggestions thanks

Obtain correct sized washers, fit to where they should be fitted, apply a wras approved silicone grease and not corrosive to rubber fairy liquid and should fit like a glove.

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.

The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...

Hi, I seemed to have a blockage in kitchen sink. A plumber came and cleared all the pipework that is visible inside my home (there was debris and pebbles!) We saw that the pipe that takes water down the gutter was visibly full to the top. He said he will return with a coil to push through...
