Main Combi 30 HE 2 second burst Problems Please help

I have a Main Combi 30 HE boiler and the wireless connections are Drayton Digisat +3RF and SCR near the boiler. It is not working and I'm unable to get any hot water for heating etc. I have replaced the batteries on the Wireless connection and there is still a red light where it says alarm on it, I have tried to override but the boiler fires for about 2 seconds and then stops not getting any heat. Have hit the front plate through frustration and it worked for about 5 seconds but then went off again. Is there an easy remedy, it is situated outside and last autumn I had an air thingy replaced (dead technical me!). Different sounding problem this time. It was fitted in 2006, and no can't replace, trying not to have time off either with one of those AM/PM appointments

if hot water has failed as well its not the stat,call a gsr engineer in or heatteam if its under warranty

Thanks for the reply, Gonna have to wait 2 weeks for the summer holidays for a suitable appointment Do you have any Idea as to what to say to them so that theyre not coming in blind? Thanks if you can. Ann

could be anything really,the wiring harness/earths/connections/pcb need testing first
