not had a look at my books yet but can anyone give me the basics on regs for installing a boiler in a static mobile home

never installed in a mobile home before so i guess there must be a few changes

Pretty sure regs are the same as in a house as it's a static van and not touring.

As James says, regs are the smae if it is a RPH and not a LAV.

the reason i ask is the walls are as thin as anything, not sure it can take a combi without reinforcing, what is the best material to use ?

You won't be able to hang a combi from the walls of a mobile home without sheeting it with something.
Use a bit 18mm ply screwed to at least one of the uprights. You may need to cover the ply with masterboard or similar depending on the boiler MI's

May restrict combi choice to a light weight one. I should imagine, biggest problem is getting the walls to hold the weight.

Hi they used to say as a last resort you could discharge the D2 pipework at high level and turn it back to the wall. Similar to a combi boiler. I have just looked back through the regs this seems to have changed and it isn't mentioned now. It now mentions if at high level it should be discharged...

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
