Hi, I've ran into some problem my boiler. However I don't know what part is at fault. Heres the problem:

I've got CH but no HW. There are no error messages. The boiler is not responing when I am running the HW tap. From what I've gathered by looking around the internet it seems to be a internal sensor problem?
However there is one way I can somehow get a minute of hot water, when the preheat is on, and I turn the preheat tempeture up, the burner will start working, perhaps just heating whatever is in the preheat tank..

It would be nice to know if this is omething I can fix myself or do I need to get a professional to fix it.
Would appreciate any help ;)

You need a gas safe engineer to take a look. No diy boiler repair advice is given on this forum.

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
