Shower water cold for far too long before hot water comes. Mira Agile bar mixer. Didn't always happen. Advice please!

A number of possibilities:
1. Any plumbing / heating work (e.g. new boiler) recently?
2. Could be the filters / non-return valves for the shower need cleaning.
3. Could be the thermostatic element in the shower failing.

What sort of boiler - make, model?

What happens if you run the basin hot tap first until warm then try the shower ?

there is a device called Aquareturn, it does not let water come out of the tap till it is hot, therefore you don't waste water at all
I hope this helps

How does it get rid of the cold water ?

Nothing in the video, but according to the website it pumps the cold water back to the boiler until it's hot.
Which then asks the question, what happens when the kitchen sink cold water tap is opened whilst this is going on?

I really don't know; we don't make these devices, we make shower timers with shut off, so don't really know how Aquareturn works; you can write an email to them; I do know these people speak English.

So makes the cold into a secondary return I guess it could effect it as there’s a good chance you could get Luke warm water out of it

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hello all, I'm would like to extend an existing outside tap to another point in the garden. I'm about to pour a concrete patio and was hoping to run the water line underneath. There are existing drain (and who knows what) pipes running along the same wall so I'm nervous about digging too far...
