Anyone been in this boat? new to me. I was asked to quote for a job, straight forward you would think except now they say there are a charity and don't pay V.A.T. How does that work?
Do I send an invoice complete with V.A.T. and they claim it back or do they expect me to work for them without adding V.A.T. I am not a charity. I have to pay V.A.T.

are you vat reg?

the way we used to (might of changed by now) but you dont charge the vat and then claim it back

I was meaning I would send them the invoice when completed with the price plus the vat as usual and they claim the vat back from whoever but not me. My accounts would be the same as usual.
