Yes, looking at the 280kW version, he currently has a mix of NXR3's and Rapidos.

Oil fired for info.

dont know anything about commercial boilers but sure one of the other lads can advise

Never played with them but at a quick squint they look like bog standard shells.

NXR's are actually manufactured by Chappee in France and are rebadged by both baxi and potterton.

I'm downloading the mi's now.

Ta croppie, they've never had any issues with the nxr's so not sure on the reason for a change.

if they are on oil, pull the lot out and fit biomass!!!!!!! get rhi to pay for it.

I'm anti biomass at the moment but that's more down to people not undestanding that you cannot 'simply' turn one off! I've told the BEMS people that dropping the demand puts the boiler into kindle mode, it doesnt run at it's operating temperature and the volatiles aren't burned off creating a choked boiler. And don't get me started on regular cleaning!

These are on government premises, the world of "It's not my job, it's an H&S risk"

Thats just reminded me of another plumber I was speaking to had a problem on some university flats where pressure was dropping every two days, quite common as we all know,
anyway he couldn't get back to repair whatever it was so showed the maintenance man how to use the filling loop, anyway gets a call next day to say boilers locked out, pressures gone and when he said to the foreman maintenance man on the phone that he could top it up he started going into one how he and his maintenance men weren't trained in doing that and they couldn't anyway and blah blah red tape galor.

The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
