I have a Grundfos Home Booster 3.0 in my rental property. Was installed 3 years ago, I've never been at the house since it was installed and nothing was every reported to me by tenants so don't know if this has been the case since day 1 or an issue....

..but I hear a constant slow drip from within the unit. Nothing is leaking externally but sounds like after there is demand from the cold feed to fill the tank, the shut valve isnt forming a perfect seal and allowing drips from the cold feed to slowly enter. Is this something I should worry about or is there a simple fix?

I went to Grundfos or passed me off to their after sales technicians who in turn quoted £400+vat just to come out and take a look🤦🏻‍♂️

Additionally it's a fairly noisy bugger when in operation but from quick Google this looks to be a common issue with mains boosters

Ball valve sounds like it’s dripping / needs a new washer / valve

I would say special instructions should list some spare parts
