Random push fit pipe with no end on near toilet ,would this be leading to anywhere shower etc think it is connected to a longer pipe headed toward shower cubicle , seems very loose when i move it ,would it be leading to shower or just lying loose from a previous connection? Before new bathroom went in?, or is the pipe serving any purpose?

Attached pics of it and its location is where the toilet is just behind it on the right yellow circle in corner

Any advice would be appreciated

It is most likely an overflow from the previous toilet - it would probably have gone to outside and there maybe evidence of this , eg a small hole or more likely one ggat has been filled with cement.

The new lavatory almost certainly has an “internal overflow “ via the flush valve so that old white pipe would be redundant.

Thanks for reply Ben,ahh that puts my mind at ease , so more than likely the pipe isn't leading anywhere, it is a bit longer than on pic but assuming that is where the water used to get fed from to old toilet

Would that pipe be running to feed the shower or is that on a separate connection?

If it’s what I said it would have only served the toilet- and it doesn’t feed water to the toilet- it let water safely discharge to outside as a warning that the inlet valve had failed. As such it is entirely possible that it never had water in it at all.
