Got to go and repair one of these where the top and bottom oven are both very unresponsive and either fully on or turn themselves off. Anyone have any past experiences before I go eyes on.

Blocked bypass not allowing it to go to simmer once temperature reached?

About the only question on cookers they ask you on an ACS so you should remember it and know what it is.

Remember on acs where they have a cooker burner that's on full rate, or off?

That's it....:bigcry::smile5:

Yeah I know obviously blocked bypass. But it has been like that since new, 3 months old. Been asked to do a warranty repair but don't normally do cooker repairs.

Yes all gas.
I'm thinking thermostat and bypass as it is on full or goes off. Just wanted to check there was nothing else. Obviously never been commissioned properly when fitted as it's been like it from new.

If something can be taken the wrong way - she will take it the wrong way...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
