Everytime I cut through a Chinese steel hard brass olive I think....this is going to break these one day..

Mine still going well. They get a lot of use. Not as sharp as they once were tho.

Yeah had mine years and still ok. As AP says they do blunt. How did it break? Is it relatively new? The Rothenberger reps are pretty good at swapping stuff out.

Just removing old brass olives on a heating system. There not brand new about 1year old.
This is my second ones that have broke.

Ive got the plier type cutters in 15 and 22. The 15's have had a lot of hammer and still going strong. They're pricey but worth it.

I've got the Monument ones had for a couple of years so far although to be honest don't get used all the time.

Anyone tried the today's tools one?

I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago on here before I registered and it was taken down. (Sorry). But I bought them Rothy olive cutters and thought they were pretty good. Spent ÂŁ25 on them then found out Dickie Dyer sell the same one for ÂŁ18 list!! Don't know who is copying who but I wasn't happy about it.
