Hello Henry0101,
Do You mean a rubber Shroud / Grommet type part that seals the Flue Analyser hole in the Combustion Chamber `Door` ?
When I installed a few Potterton Lynx 2 Combi`s many Years ago I was very critical about the design and manufacture of that part - from memory it was just a push in rubber `Plug` which I decided at the time would gradually become loose and not seal the hole - either through the rubber `perishing` / degrading or possibly through use for a Flue Analyser - although this was not a regular `Test` back when the Lynx 2 was released onto the market.
It was not much better than a rubber Cork !
I installed a few of the Lynx 2 Combi`s in some Flats on a small New build contract but I would not have specified the Lynx 2 for any of my own Installations purely on the basis of not liking that part.
If I am correct that what I described is what you need I doubt that You will be successful in obtaining one of these - like most Potterton Lynx parts they would now be obsolete and they are probably not a part that a Heating / Gas Engineer would salvage from a Lynx that they removed.
Could You please let Me / Us know whether I am correct that what I described is the part that You need ?
Regards,
Chris
EDIT: Sorry that I did not see your second message Henry - I must have been writing my reply.
For other Readers / Members I am attaching a partial parts diagram for the Casing & Gas Assembly Parts - see part number 85 - the `Rubber Cork` which seals the Flue Analyser hole in the Combustion Chamber Door.
Regards, Chris
