Sentinal x800

Is their any maximum timescale this stuff should be left in a system?

I have always ran it up for few hours then drained .

can you leave it in for several days or is it to acidic?

it will eat aliminium,x 800 used to be called ferroquest, its a cracking cleaner but finds the weakness in ali hex,s

Eats aluminium over what timescale.
We talking shagging a hex in a week or 2 ??

My boss put some in his system. Found a pinhole after a few hours in the hex. That was a cast one, so must of been in its way out anyway. But still quite strong stuff.

it has a very good but short working life i believe, wont do any harm i guess if its left in alttile longer than suggested but prob wont make it remove more gunk.

My bro left it in his old vaillant turbomax for about 3 months & all way okay... The diverter valve was leaking at Xmas tho but don't think related :/

I'm stuck on using Fernox products, used them for more years than I care to remember, used Sentinel a couple of times not over impressed with it
