Why has no corporation tax been paid re the Ritz Hotel over the past 17 years?

The Tax Haven Twins - Panorama 8.30 BBC 1 tonight (Mon 17.12.2012)

BBC One - Panorama, The Tax Haven Twins

Let's hope the BBC have got their facts right this time, otherwise this could cost them - I mean: us, of course!

I filed my tax return online yesterday and I noticed a question asking whether I was involved in any tax avoidance schemes.
I wonder if this question is on the corporation tax form!

Did it have a free-phone telephone number for a firm of accountants underneath if the answer was no?

Perhaps a new national logo would help her Mag when selecting people for Knighthoods...

Too right, the Tory Party is funded by people like them, although Dave's moment of moral indignation over Jimmy Carr may have dented such people's commitment to funding: 'the Party'... "David and his big mouth, again!"

I was initially surprised to hear that the BBC were turning over this stone - thought maybe they were re-growing a pair under new management - but then when I heard that these two own the Newspaper that dobbed-in MPs over their expenses scam, it all made sense, i.e. payback!

Well it's nice to know that the BBC can come in handy when one sector of the rich and powerful fall out with another group of the bruvers!

London has once again become the scene for gang warfare, although this lot don't use guns and knives (not publically anyway) rather, they use solicitors and accountants and national Newspapers, and now the good old BBC, to beat each other up with!

Cleverly though, they still manage to get the plebs to pay for their weapons - I don't buy the Telegraph, but I do pay out for a BBC Licence.

So what next?

Murdoch must have a few old scores he'd like to settle, so look out for more dog-fight action in the media any time soon!

And if you are a Sky customer you can rest assured that your subscriptions are being used in a good cause!

At least it makes a change from the media beating-up on people who are unemployed, the sick, and the disabled, and Simon Cowell's not getting a cut - not as far as I know that is!
