Hi

I am trying to fit a Hive Radiator valve into my existing TRV valve body to make them automatic so have bought a Hive valve to try it out. I have done this before in another install but the valves were Danfoss and directly compatible with Hive.

I am looking for an adapter that will be able to convert my existing valve body to the Hive TRV. Looking at the Hive instructions if the Adapter guide fits over the screw thread then I should ask Hive for an M28 adapter, BUT from the diagrams I don't think the M28 adapter will give the right fit as my valve body has 25mm from the top of the valve screw to the push pin and the adapter looks quite compact.

Please see the attached photos of the valve body and a comparison with a Danfoss trv screw thread for comparison.

Your ideas would be welcome, ideally, I don't want to replace the valve bodies as I will need to do 8 of them.

Many thanks

Matt
