As title, but looking on ebay or any shops there is never any mention of where the wide jaw 90xx range of adjustables are made so not sure if these are fairly new thats always been made outside of Sweden??

I am sure they are not, they are no better than the unbranded widejaws from Toolstation, which sell at half the price

Aye i seen this link on the other thread and was a good read....does anyone know when Bahco actually stopped making stuff in Sweden though? Its the wide jaw 9031 i would like to get if could find a Swedish made one.

Have you tried the unbranded ones then? Take it your not keen on the Bahco wide jaw wrench then?

Yeah i have got the 6" ones, the Bachos are not worth twice the price, they are basically identical. I have just read on here TodaysTools make them, most likely correct as that is who make the pipe slices, when i got mine they just come in a clear bag.

They come in handy now and then, you can tell they are not ultra good quality though.

TS also had Bearhugs in today at £23, i paid 50 notes for them not so long ago.

Hello All
The 9031 was made in Sween from 1999
Since 2006 the whole production process, tools, machineery and skills to produce the range of Bahco Adjustable Wrenches was transferred to the Bahco facility in Spain. The range includes the standard 80 series, the 90 series with handle and such varients as -P which has a reversible jaw for use as a pipe wrench, -T which has a thin jaw profile to increase access, for example on locking nuts. The family 9029, 9031, 9033 & 9035 are all part of the wide jaw range where a shorter handle length than normal is used to offer extra access when needed on large dimension hexagons. You can see more of the range on the Bahco website www .bahco. com. I hope this helps
