Guys and Gals,
May seem a stupid question, but which tile adhesive and grout would anybody recommend? as have tried some shop own brands and found that they are not that great. Also gotta think about the pocket too...
Would appreciate and help anybody can give me.

Thanks.:)

Keep up all the good work and advise.....

I use Bal adhesive and and grout as I have found this to be the best, but expensive.
The one that I would definatley avoid is unibond adhesive and grout, awfull stuff and guaranteed to end up in disaster.

Mapei Keraquick or Keraflex for adhesives and Mapei Ultracolor Plus grout when I can get then or otherwise BAL flexible adhesive and Microflex grout.

Never use a combined adhesive/grout product! This type is OK as an adhesive, but when used to grout it's far too watery and shrinks a lot as it dries, leaving you with unsightly fissures and leaky grouting.

Instead, always use a mix-it-yourself powder type, e.g. the grout from BES is good in my experience.

I think the ones described on the packaging as 'adhesive and grout' should be had up for contravening the trades description act!

Ive nearly always used vallance for wall tiles and never had a problem.
I always mix floor adhesive and grout from powders, again vallance grout has never given a problem. I think the floor adhesive i use is everbuild. These are not the best, but price and performance wise IMHO not a bad buy.

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
