Hello. Recently I rented a studio apartment in Dublin and there was a plumbing issue thus the host requested compensation for it. However, I did not remember causing any clogging during the stay. Oddly, the whole toilet was clogged (toilet bowl, shower and sink). I even disposed of toilet wipes in sanitary cans in the toilet. Is there any reason or possible cause it happens?

Welcome to the forums.

Was there a macerator? Normally a White box that makes a noise 5 seconds after you flush the toilet or when using the basin or shower.

Hi rpm.

Yes there was a noise after using the toilet and basin. Could it be caused by that?

If you are sure it was all working ok when you left and you didn`t flush anything away other than toilet paper then maybe.........

The discharge pipe is frozen due to the cold at the moment.
The cleaner has thrown a wet wipe cleaning cloth down the toilet and flushed (Some do say flushable).
It is old and just bad timing.
The "Host" is trying it on to get a new pump out of you.
However good luck proving any of the above without being there.
