I removed the old vanity unit in my bathroom, intending to do a makeover. Finished the shower cubicle, and starting on the vanity. I bought a 2nd hand basin with taps, but I find it's far too heavy to mount on the new counter I made.

What I'd like is a plastic basin. I see a few on eeb ay, but I don't use eeb ay. Does anyone know where you can get plastic pvc bathroom basins in Australia? Taps not required.

Thanks.

TBH, you should probably up-rate the strength of the counter. Fittings in bathrooms need to be properly secured. Should be strong enough to survive repeated use over many years and remain safe even if, for example, someone slips over and grabs them to break their fall.
