I'm looking to buy my own telecan it will be used for oil and gas boilers. Any recommendations I don't have a lot of money as I'm going out on my on next month.

None of them cheap and if you work out what various makes and models yearly costs will be, taking in account of calibration and repairs, you will find they are £200 a year.
I have a Testo 310, which does most things you could need on oil and gas. It hasn’t memory function though. Costs approx £500 in printer kit.
Kane seem also to get a good reputation and logical to use

Last time I looked into getting another Testo were decent value but yearly calibration costs were expensive. Even a used Kane 455 was going for around £350 + the calibration costs.

I dont know anybody that has one but the Regin one seems a bargain , only for analysing. no diff temps , gas probe , etc etc

Thanks guys. I'm out of my time now and I'm still on £8.50 with my gas ticket and oftec ticket svq3 plumbing. I can do a bit joinery,Wetwall, tiling and taping. the company I'm with thrown in the deep doing maintain plumbing breakdowns, servicing, removing gas pipe etc. I've got no one in the company to ask for advise so I'm on my own. I'm getting a free ford transit from my uncle it's a banger but it works. As long as I make the same or more I'm sure I'll do ok. I've got work lined up already and I know it's not easy to establish your self and there is never a good time to do it. I've got mates who are self employed and have lots of experience who said they would help. So I'm pretty nervous. My wife she does book keeping and all that kinda stuff so I'm lucky. Also you guys have progressed my ability considerably. So thanks

Hey inversnecky , I have a Testo 330 but no use for va starter but I defo favour Testo, re your work , don't worry youll be fine, the most important advise I can give in business is always do a tidy job , be nice and curtious and on time with your jobs , word of mouth in a place like Inverness or any place for that matter is priceless ,,, Break downs etc always remember you have manufacturers technical help lines and knowledge comes with time and experience as we all started similar, the company I served my time with in Buckie had me fitting kitchens for years then I went offshore and when I got payed off from the rigs 10 years ago I started up on my own and believe me I've learned more on my own than I ever did, use the forums, Facebook groups even YouTube especially if your not sure in multimeters or electrics etc and if your really stuck then I'm sure anyone here would be happy to help, good luck

That is very nice of you for your kind words. Thank you mate.
