adding an additional radiator to existing system. drained system down,added new rad downstairs. filled very slowly, E & F filled quickly, boiler is a potterton prima b with pump above. checked the drain off on the return to pump very little water came out. thinking of reverse filling from drain off at pump. any body got any ideas. thanks :confused:
 
guess what its microbore ! 10mm hep2o by the looks of things.

If its fully pumped make sure the diverter valve is spragged open, if that doesnt work then fill from the draincock but make sure theres a overflow fitted to the F&E tank first incase it fills the tank before filling the system, somtimes it can help to run the pump for a short time too, regards.
 
sorted had to reverse fill twice but it cleared in the end, thanks for replies.
