Added to someone else's gas safe

i have my own gas safe registration, just me on it

If I am added to a bigger company's registration to do sub contract work does that affect my own at all?

Surely if you are contracting you are working on your own gas safe. If you are using theirs you should be direct labour?

you can be added to multiple companies.
I have a lad on mine who is employed by another company.

They have another guy who comes and commission at the end of a refurb. So I have not been responsible for the gas side yet.

We have our own registration and also work for a firm as direct labour also on their registration.

One thing I have noticed is that I have never had a visit from the inspector. I think it’s because work do their compliance stuff so I get away with it.

I had a gas guy on my company registration who was also on another companies, he was helping me out on a big job, gas safe seamed to think it was quite common.

But that’s not the company employing you as a contractor. It’s you being an employee.
