Since the plumbers forums page has changed its layout all I seem to get is adverts, adverts, adverts. Is there a option to not have these in the settings as i am getting sick of them. The forum just is not as good as it was before all the advertising. Any help would be appreciated.

The advertising funds the operation of PF and I know some advertisers outside of PF and they report the responses and business generated via PF to be positive. Centralheatking

Well in my opinion its a worse forum now, more difficult to navigate around the site as all you keep getting are pop up adverts for sunday plumbers and other junk advertising. Not impressed at all.

If a “free” service paid for by adverts, as as the internet gets more active, rates for advertising go down , so more adverts are needed.

Maybe you should aSk Dan if you can “pay” for an ad free service ....
