Thanks moony.....the problem i had was with the ignition board....i phoned ariston tech whilst i was there....very helpful too.
sounds like the one your'e working is about dead.....surely its replacement time!!

Yeah mate it's at deaths door I've told him this for a while to save up for one - see how he gets on though.
