Hi,
I've fitted a bath shower mixer with the chrome elbows connected to the water supply leaving them on the bath to screw the tap onto by 22mm nuts. I've put ptfe tape on the elbows but cannot get them to stop leaking (very slight drip) if I over tighten them they leak more. Any suggestions, totally stuck. I've put a link below of the tap in case I don't make sense

In anticipation

Hi was the tap not supplied with washers? regards turnpin:cheesy:

Only to fit the elbows to the bath. The connection of the 22mm nuts has a mesh inside but no washer

I think you need some washers normally supplied with tap contact your supplier or pop into a local merchants with some pics on your phone and they will sort your problem for a small fee regards turnpin:cheesy:

Thank you. I'll give it a bash. Is it a fibre washer rather than rubber for any reason?
