Due to the range of courses available I strongly recommend you visit the City and Guilds website to check that the courses offered are what you require.
Some courses I have seen offered and recommended are not really suitable if you want to pursue a career in the Plumbing and Heating Industry.
For the best start you need to gain as much knowledge as you can. Plumbing is a lot more than unblocking sinks and repairing burst pipes.
If you go for a course because it is the cheap option without investigating it fully you run the very real risk of having to spend more money at a later date to gain skills you really need. In addition to this you may make costly mistakes in cutomers property causing financial loss and irreparable damage to your reputation as a plumber

couldnt agree more if you want to be a plumber do it proper and you will save a small fortune
