Do you find it hard piping up combi's ,try the flexi way

IMG_0445.jpg

BG did homecare did pick up the ''ar'' pressure release pipework

IMG_0459.jpg

Bottom casing was broken ,electrics, pcb all open to the world, with control knobs missing

IMG_0450.jpg

Wall was a bit doggy so sited on two mdf wood sheets

IMG_0452.jpg

outside flue was full of pigeon droppings on the top

IMG_0454.jpg

boiler was not modulating on hot water just on and off
obviously boiler not installed by competent or reg person

I turned off, labeled and issued warning notice not to use

BG Homecare came back today after repairing it a month or so ago, putting a new p/gauge on,taped up boiler plastic cover and ,removed all labels and left working, saying requires replacing as soon as possible and carried out gsr

I seem to be stuck on planet zog

I'll start ball rolling with what I seen so far. Always interesting to see if I can spot the faults

Prv wrong material and going up hill

Not enough copper on base of boiler

Incorrect filling loop

Mounted on combustible surfaces

Gas looks a lil small, would hazard a guess at pressures are out

Lack of maintenance on boiler

Flue doesn't seem to be seated correctly in the first clamp

loops part of the jig,so correct, gas connection was 15mm on this boiler but pipe must still be the correct size prior to it,in regards to the first clamp they go on about 20 mm,i agree with the rest though
