Hi guys been asked to move a boiler from kitchen to bathroom upstairs .. they want it putting at the end of the bath but in my understanding its against regs to be able to touch the boiler from the bath .. (you will be able to touch it with stretched arm) ..

is there any way around this like encasing it in a sealed box?

cheers guys

You can use a cupboard to meet the regs, just check which zone it will be in

it will be in zone 2 .. gonna look awful but customer is really adamant she wants it there.

Yeh this world is filled with allsorts. Also check manufacturers guidelines on zones and allowances for different zones. Or a quick call to there tech helpline. ....

i have checked MI but not stating much in there around zones etc. Ill call them up.

Yeh thats wot i would do and they will instruct u about boxing in on that particular zone.

brilliant you'll be replacing that steam filled pcb every 18 months :)
