Brand new diverter valve leaking

I've just replaced the diverter valve on a Potterton HE (and the motor) and its still leaking out of the top of the valve, is the new valve also faulty or am I missing something?

Heatmax combi 28 HE, you can just see a blob of water coming out of the top, the seals are all ok.

here is the old diverter valve, been leaking for some time and the motor was getting waterlogged, I replaced that as well because I lost a spring drying it out.

You shouldn’t need to replace any o rings on a new valve.

But you will need new 3/4” washers

Hi new washers and o rings, the drip is coming from the top where the pin is that the motor pushes, its just dripping down onto the union.

Probably really old stock and had the cartridge replaced previously. Email them and send it back, get yourself a new one from a local supplier. You get what you pay for.
