Coming up as £53
I think wickes is best price
Can't find cheaper
Customer wants a £50 toilet
Rented house
Good luck. We get offered loads of cheap chinese pottery that we could sell under £50. None of it gets past our buying team quality standards.
Buy one of [DLMURL="http://www.tradeonlyplumbing.co.uk/bathrooms/wcs-cisterns/wc-in-a-box/advantagepack1.html"]these[/DLMURL] for £59+ vat
It comes with a proper weight seat, complete with metal hinges, decent cistern fittings, and is made for us by Roca, under their Fresssh brand name
B&q toilet and silicone the ball valve and siphon in
Dab of LS-X surely? Have some pity on poor future plumbers. It might be you!
how cheap is too cheap?
Get this a lot now people see these cheep items, expect you to do the running around, and are on you case when it doesn't work properly , So I just tell them, if its something they have seen go and get it, I will fit it on the understanding that if its faulty its down to them to sort it out with there supplier ! The other thing I am getting is on boiler repairs, noticed that the trade outlets are selling parts for the same price as I pay , and I have an account (What's the point) and I don't like the idea of selling these sort of parts to the general public, Its about time that Gas Safe put a stop to this, they promote gas safety week, but still let anyone buy gas related parts, which encourages people to do there own repairs putting lives at risk. Makes you think why spend all this money and time on training, when any idiot can get gas parts !!
Can I ask.
When fitting toilets, sometimes you need to pack behind the cistern
As an example, if it's a straight connection, how do you get around this so the cistern sits against the wall?
The connector we used was too long so it needed packing. The other we tried was to short. The extension piece made it too long! The flexi we used was pushed fully in.
