I've fitted plenty of 'toilet to go'

Had no issues. You've just got to treat them like other cheap stuff. With cheap wastes I always apply ptfe round washers before installing, then they never leak.

With cheap WC's as long as you use plumber's mait on spigot, and allow for your own innards and seat they're fine. But Ray's linked WC sounds pretty unbeatable given his description.

Ive never had a problem removing siliconed in ball valves and siphons I don't go mad like silicone is expensive

Never had a problem with the wickes £50.00 bog to go toilets but then its easier for me as they are less than a half a mile from my house and its just convienient for me to get them from there as bogs are a bit bulky

Being as your not going to be able to put any mark up on this WC, and your doing all the running around, and will be expected to put it right if it gets problems, tell your customer to supply the WC themselves !!

Get this a lot now people see these cheep items, expect you to do the running around, and are on you case when it doesn't work properly , So I just tell them, if its something they have seen go and get it, I will fit it on the understanding that if its faulty its down to them to sort it out with there supplier ! The other thing I am getting is on boiler repairs, noticed that the trade outlets are selling parts for the same price as I pay , and I have an account (What's the point) and I don't like the idea of selling these sort of parts to the general public, Its about time that Gas Safe put a stop to this, they promote gas safety week, but still let anyone buy gas related parts, which encourages people to do there own repairs putting lives at risk. Makes you think why spend all this money and time on training, when any idiot can get gas parts !!

they dont have any bit in that sector as if it goes for one it goes for all and will put the places like b and q wickes out of business because if they do the gas they will have to do the elec side and so on

You buy it you pay if it breaks simple as that, very up front with this and the fact I put a mark up on the price to cover sourcing, collecting and repair if necessary.

The connector we used was too long so it needed packing. The other we tried was to short. The extension piece made it too long! The flexi we used was pushed fully in.

Couldn't you cut the extension piece down?

Some pan connector can be cut to size on the waste that the pan is going if plastic can be cut down to fit. Or if neither due projection cisern or pan then block of wood and then tiled over or not depending on what cust is willing to pay

Depends on gap ! Piece of timber, 15mm couplings used as spacers, each one presents its own problem,

Cut the connector down to size

Use a baton of wood between wall and cistern

Use 22 copper or 21.5 plastic pipe over the cistern to wall screws

The pan connector uses had rubber 'gills' that inserted into the soil pipe.

If you used an extension that i saw had rubber on one end & plain plastic the other I take it that the plain end inserts into a normal size pan connector & this plain end can be cut to size. Ok, getting it
