Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone cant point me in the right direction with a dripping overflow. I had noticed that the overflow in the attic was dripping but only at random times. I went to have a look in the attic last night to see if the water level in the cisterns where high but they were both fine. I dont appear to have an overflow on the Cold water cistern only on the F&E cistern (confused by this - shouldn't there be one on both or should they be linked?) but the water level in the F&E was well below the overflow and the water level line was also well below the overflow. Any ideas?

Cheers in advance

Both should have an overflow. So if the CWSC doesn't then the one dripping will be the F&E. Try looking at the level when the boiler is running.

you mite need to adjust the grub screw on the ball valve this will drop the water level in the tank run the boiler for a bit and see what the presser is it mite be to high.... both tanks should have an over flow if not where is the extra water going to go??????? but over the sides and through the ceiling..... tell us where you live there will properly bo some here that mite be able to help you out.

might be down to the system water getting pumped over. Turn down pump if at 3. Might also have a blockage. No overflow? Does the one with no overflow spill in to the one with an overflow? seen that before.
